Due to several inquiries from the industry regarding the methodology for bids comparison, ANCAP has decided to make available the Excel spreadsheet that will be used for this purpose. One sheet is used for each Area and values must be entered in the light yellow cells.
Based on the proposed exploratory program, economic proposal and maximum participation percentage, total score is calculated for the bid.

| Uruguay Round II is open | | Montevideo (Sep, 8). With a strong political will of both main national authorities and the national oil company ANCAP, the Uruguay Round II for the offshore oil exploration and exploitation was open in Montevideo, Uruguay. The Ancap president Raul Sendic gave the welcome to all the companies that came to the event, as its presence show its trust on the commitment of the country and Ancap in the oil exploration.
